We are Charlie and Kageni Starrett, speech coaches, trainers, workshop leaders and consultants. Based in Melbourne, we do public speaking, presentation and influence skills coaching and training in Australia as well as globally online. We also work with clients on Authentic Leadership

We work particularly with small groups and individuals in organisations from larger enterprises to entrepreneurs and small business owners. Many of our private coaching clients in organisations are looking for a sounding board and safe environment to learn and practise new skills.

After years of struggling with performance and public speaking anxiety (my story is below), we’ve learned what’s needed to prepare and perform at your best in front of an audience.

Having presented at a high level in venues in Washington DC, Las Vegas, Dubai, Nairobi, London, Kuala Lumpur, PNG and New Zealand, believe us when we say, this definitely hones your skills on stage!

Charlie

Charlie Starrett is the Founder of ONEWorld Speakers where Speakers are built for Authentic Leadership. To be a great Leader, you need to be a great communicator. Whether you are the Leader in your own Life or in charge of a global company you need to influence with Power and Authority. 

When you Speak for Influence you get the RESULTS You want every time. That is because you exude a certain confidence that makes people want to listen to you, pay attention to what you are actually saying and take Action.

Charlie’s speaking career over the last 2 decades has span from radio to being the International Director to the World's Largest Public Speaking and Leadership Organisation - Toastmasters International. 

He is an International Keynote Speaker, TED x Speaker Coach, MC & Host.

His style is warm and has the magical ability to make his audience feel at ease. Whether you are a logical or practical or heart-centered person, Charlie has the ability to move his audiences. 

He is comfortable with large or small audiences when facilitating workshops.

Kageni

In a bygone era, women lived with a purposeful grace, tending to their homes and families with the gentle diligence of threaded beadwork and woven baskets. Women sat in circles, supported one another and even raised children together. Their very presence commanded respect, and men looked up to them for counsel and guidance before they marched off to war. They sang and danced as they worked, spinning tales for their children while they stirred pots over the fire. It was a time when a mother's cooking truly was the best and women were the natural leaders of their communities. 

But in our modern age, the pressures of modern leadership often leave even the most capable women questioning their own self-worth. As a successful electrical engineer in a male-dominated industry, Kageni knows firsthand the stresses that women face in the modern workplace. Running a business, managing an organization, raising children – it can all seem overwhelming, leaving little time for self-care and even less for building deep human connections and relationships. 

After years of chasing ‘success’ in the corporate world, Kageni found herself feeling burnt out and disconnected from her own sense of self-worth and purpose. So, she returned to her roots, spending 40 days and 40 nights with the Maasai Tribe in her native Kenya to become immersed in the ageless wisdom of the Ancestors lived by her grandmother passed down through countless generations. One thing Kageni learned; that was clear, was that most of us live in our minds not in our hearts. 

What she discovered was a way of life that emphasized more on community, deliberate action and mindful living. A way of life that she knew could be shared with women and men all over the world about our common humanity and shared values - UBUNTU. 

As a global speaker and author of the book "Magnificent Woman," Kageni has inspired countless women to reclaim their power and embrace this innate wisdom. And with her proven system for “Soul Wellness”, she is helping women everywhere to live with the same purposeful grace. 

Now, as the founder of the School of MAGNIFICENCE and a trained Soul Coach, Kageni is on a mission to help women rediscover their own sense of purpose and connection through the practice of soul activation. Kageni’s Soul Activation audios on her MAGNIFICENT Woman Podcast and School of Magnificence YouTube channel offer weekly mindful reminders to slow down, breathe, and consciously invest our energy in the things that truly matter. Her custom 1:1 coaching program, The Magnificent Woman Transformation, provides a step-by-step blueprint for women leaders who want to prioritize their own Soul Wellness and lead with grace and purpose.
